WELL HUNG HAMMOCKS

While travelling in Asia people constantly asked where I got my (hand-made) hammock from; that led to commissions from people wanting their own hammock which led to the creation of Well Hung Hammocks. Now we’ve expanded I can’t make all of the hammocks myself, but I have been working with the same small team for over 15 years in certified Fair Trade units. I design the styles and colours I want and oversee the whole production, right through to finishing and quality control. I import the hammocks myself (even going to collect them from the port in a van!) so we can offer our workers a decent wage yet still keep the costs down for our customers. As all of my hammocks are hand-sourced and made to my colours and specifications, they are not only fair trade, but also unique.
