ALBANIA INVESTMENT DEVELOPMENT AGENCY

The Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) is an institution that is part of the Ministry of Finance and Economy. The focus of the Agency is on promoting the country’s tourism potential and strengthening the export potential of the country, and promoting/supporting foreign direct investment in Albania, as well as enhancing the competitiveness of the private sector. Serving as an intermediary between foreign investors and the Government of Albania, AIDA provides access to up-to-date investment information and acts as a “One-Stop-Shop,” supporting investors throughout the investment process. The direct contribution of AIDA to the economic development of the country is emphasized through: Facilitation and support of foreign direct investments in Albania; Growth and competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs); Promotion and providing assistance for exports of goods and services.
